Predicting Challenge is a creative speaking activity designed for B1–B2 learners to practise narrative tenses in an engaging and meaningful way. Students read unusual and slightly mysterious story beginnings and use their imagination to continue the story. The activity encourages the use of past simple, past continuous, and past perfect while developing fluency, storytelling skills, and confidence in speaking.
