My Regrets | Third Conditional

This activity features 5 images with sentence starters designed to spark discussion on different life topics while practising the third conditional. Students reflect on past situations and imagine alternative outcomes, making it ideal for B1–B2 learners.

How to Use

1. Show students one of the 5 pictures with a sentence starter.
2. Ask them to finish the sentence using the third conditional.
   Example topics include: weekend, money, childhood, summer, work.
3. Encourage students to explain their reasoning and provide details.
4. Use pair or group discussions to allow learners to share their sentences.
5. Rotate through all topics to give students multiple opportunities to practise.
