Flavour Your Drink

Flavour Your Drink is a cozy warm-up activity that brings the charm of the cold seasons into your classroom. Students explore a set of everyday “bonuses” and use them to imagine how they would flavour a special seasonal drink. This creative task encourages speaking, personalization, and light functional language practice across multiple levels.

How to Use

1. Show students the selection of everyday bonuses on the pics.
2. Ask each student to choose the bonuses they would like to “add” to their drink.
3. Students describe their drink by explaining how the chosen bonuses affect the flavour, feeling, or experience of the drink.
4. Encourage them to expand on their ideas using adjectives, sensory vocabulary, or short descriptive sentences.
5. Allow students to share their creations with the class or in pairs for a fun, imaginative warm-up discussion.
