Fill Your Stocking is a festive speaking warm-up designed to get students talking about their winter wishes, preferences, and priorities. Suitable for all levels, this activity encourages personal choice and simple explanations using seasonal vocabulary.

How to Use

• Each picture shows a Christmas stocking with 5 different items or activities to choose from.
• Ask students to look at the options carefully and decide which ones they would like to put into their stocking.
• Students explain their choices using full sentences.
• Encourage follow-up questions or comparisons between students to extend the discussion.
• Adapt the level of language support depending on your class (single sentences for lower levels, reasons and examples for higher levels).
