Are You Ready to Order?

Are you ready to order? is a fun A1–A2 speaking activity designed to bring creativity and real-life communication into your lessons. Students explore different menus, choose what they want to order, and practise essential food-related vocabulary through simple, engaging role-plays.

How to Use

1. Show the menu slides to your students.
2. Ask them to explore each menu and pick the meal or drink they want to order.
3. Use the speaking prompts provided on half of the slides to guide the conversation.
4. Students work in pairs to role-play a customer and a server, using the menu choices in their dialogue.
5. Rotate roles and repeat with different menus for extra practice.
