2026 Vision Boards

2026 Vision Boards is a creative speaking activity that encourages students to reflect on their goals, plans, and dreams for the year ahead. Using two visually engaging boards, students practise the future simple and be going to in a personal and meaningful context while building confidence in spoken English.

How to use

1. Give each student a vision board or display it on the screen.
2. Students finish the sentence prompts on the board with their own ideas, focusing on plans, intentions, and hopes for 2026.
3. Once the board is complete, students share their ideas in pairs or small groups, explaining their choices.
4. Encourage follow-up questions to extend speaking, such as Why? or How are you going to do it?

This activity works well as a creative speaking warm-up or reflective task at the start of the year and can be easily adapted for A1–B1 learners with extra support or modelling.
